Prior to the pandemic we held our weekly Wednesday night quiz from 9pm. £1 per person to enter. Teams of 2-6.
You could win a bar tab or free drinks or 'CRACK THE SAFE' to win the cash!.
Great atmosphere and good fun.
We hope to reinstate our quiz nights when our lives can resume some normality as regards social distancing. Until then please bear with us thanks.
We serve home cooked great value pub food.
Food service times are :
Monday-5-9.30pm
Tuesday- Thursday 12-2.30pm & 5-9.30pm.
Friday - Saturday 12-9.30pm
Sunday 12-4.30pm
Bank holidays - 12-4.30pm
Last food orders 15 minutes before kitchen closes.
Prior to the pandemic our function room was available for private hire. At the moment we are not taking any function bookings.
The Plough Inn is predominantly a traditional real ale free house situated in the heart of Shifnal. There is a great choice of drinks and food.
At the rear of the pub there is an amazing outside covered seated area, huge beer garden and function room.
The Plough Inn doubles as a restaurant and traditional cask ale freehouse offering a wide selection of real ales , with 8 traditional hand pulls on the bar, 2 real cask ciders,
plus a selection of continental lagers and premium ciders.
Ales on are displayed on the 'hymn' board along with their price and ABV. Ales in stock coming on are displayed on the 'beerboard'. We hold up to 40 in stock as the turn over is rapid and we want to ensure we keep the 8 on at all times for your choice.
